About the Programme
The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) at Abdur Rahim College of Pharmacy is a two-year professional teacher-education programme designed to prepare graduates for secondary and higher secondary school teaching. Responding to the growing need for trained teachers in West Bengal, particularly in Murshidabad, the programme focuses on developing sound subject knowledge, pedagogical skills and the right attitudes required for the teaching profession.
The programme is offered in accordance with NCTE regulations and the guidelines of the University of Kalyani. Through a balanced blend of theory courses, practical activities, school internship and co-curricular engagements, the B.Ed programme aims to produce competent, reflective and value-oriented teachers who can contribute effectively to school education in both rural and urban contexts.
Eligibility:
Graduation or its equivalent in any school-subject discipline from a recognized University, with eligibility criteria as per the norms of NCTE, University of Kalyani and the competent authorities of West Bengal.
